Ontario Base Maps (commonly known as OBM's) cover the entire province of Ontario. They detail the topography of an area and outline the lots and concessions of the townships.
OBM's are at a scale of 1:10,000 south of Sudbury and 1:20,000 north of it.
OBM's are a good inexpensive source for basic naivgation and to identify the features around you.
Some Reasons you might want an OBM:
1. Inexpensive way to navigate through an unknown area.
2. Learn about the features on a property you are unfamiliar with.
3. Locate what lot your property lies on.
